BECAUSE of a PDA, the lively and childlike Ko Yat Sze (Chow) is finally reunited with her high school Prince Charming Shum Long (Cheng). Shum Long disappeared one day and Yat Sze has been pining for him ever since. Even after all these years, Yat Sze’s heart still misses a beat every time she sees the handsome and humorous Shum Long. They meet up again in a shopping mall, which is designed like a canopy (hence the title of the series). But as fate would have it, Yat Sze also runs into Kuen Lik (Wong), a guy who is loyal and devoted to his friends. While Yat Sze believes that love is the be-all and end-all of things, Shum Long thinks that money is more important and he is willing to do anything to become rich. The honest and simple Kuen Lik reminds Yat Sze of the Shum Long she used to know. Now that the lives of these three young people have crossed, what does fate hold for them under the canopy of love?
