In Kawasaki, Japan there is an elite detective agency called Detective Office 5. At Detective Office 5, there is a genius code breaker who goes by Detective 507 (Onoe Kikunosuke). His latest job brings him to China where he's been commissioned by an unknown client to crack the toughest code he's ever come across. Once in Shanghai, he gets pulled into a perplexing mystery involving the mafia and a beautiful singer (Inamori Izumi).
